Although outwardly similar to the Superstox, these cars utilize much bigger engines, the American Chevrolet V8’s or occasionally you'll find a Rover V8.

Developed out of the traditional F1 Stock Car, which had become much too expensive and specialized for many would be competitors; nonetheless the rumbling motors and colourful bodies add spice to any meeting. The V8 formula has been around for many years, formally known as SCOTA and F1 Stock Cars.

Over the past decade the formula has had some interesting times, more recently though the formula has taken an upward turn and gets better every year. The V8 formula is one of Spedeworth's oldest formulas, yet still provides great excitement. Being a full contact sport you'll rarely see a dull race.

2005 promises to be one of the best seasons of racing from the V8's for many years with a number of confirmed new drivers and seasoned drivers also returning back to the fold including those from Spedeworth themselves...this will certainly be a formula to watch for!
